of a brand new life experience....

University life.

where mixture of poly & JC students come together.

its been a week plus since sch started..

going for lectures & practicals are okay. getting use to them.

haven start tutorial yet. most likely next week.

so yeah, i hope it will be gd since i would be alone for some of them.

time to be independent and make new friends.

haas. (:

1st practical in NUS gave me a shock. its on biochemistry's pH & buffers.

normally, when we are in poly, the procedure for carrying out the experiment would be given, but this time round, we have to do it plan the experiment on our own to achieve what we need. Good thing my TA is nice and guide us along the way. hees. i see some of the TA dont care. hmmms. have to do a report on the experiments that was carried out. kind of hard since normally we just have to complete a wksht.. haa. even the equipments are different! pipettes are weird, no longer the motor operated. In NUS, we use those with suction. hahaha! so yeah, things are different in uni now. shall no longer compare it with poly.

2nd practical, LSM1102, molecular genetics, is so much better! since similar experiments were carried out in poly before! the beneficial thing is we dont have to learn how to use the micropipettes again! cos we use them very commonly in poly! (: so we did the isolation of DNA from E.coli and also 16 streaks! (: it has been like 2 yrs since i last streak a plate! i think it'll look ugly. haa! hopefully i get to take a pic the next prac lesson! (:

lectures are kind of hard to understand, esp the chemistry as we didnt really cover that fully in poly and yeah, i kind of lost my IPC notes. sighhh~ so i nw gt to try and remember and also have to study what i lost. haa. time to study yr 1 in poly back again. can i crash poly lecture? haa!

wed & thurs are my slack days. get to go to sch late (4-7pm) and come back early(10-12pm). lol. so things are okay, at least its not as packed. haa! but there are also long hrs of breaks. (longest for me would be even week fridays. since i gt lecture frm 8-10am then break frm 10 - 2pm. then another lecture at 2-4pm. sighs. kind of irritating. haa. its okay on odd weeks since i gt practicals, though tat means no lunch till 4pm? hahahas. :P

yeah, i guess thats life in uni for nw. i'm sure it'll become more busy. haa. (:

a new beginning...

things will be weird as we will be using HUGE lecture halls, LSCT's SMALL compared to NUS. haa. and I've 3 lectures tmr! first day of sch ah, and 3 lectures. hahas.

at least i've XW with me tmr morning, and sherryn, xw & PH with me for afternoon lec & lastly alone for the final lecture at 2pm - 4pm! then i'm officially off sch. haaaa! lucky no tutorial this week! if not, till 7pm with 2hrs break. lol. boringggg~

haa. still gt lots of things to do tmr.

just finish printing my lecture notes 5mins ago. hais hais. so hard to log in to IVLE. :/ hmmmms.

anyway, all the best to everyone starting sch! i know the polys are having their holiday now! so gd righttttt! no fair! haaa!

plus its the first day of the ghost mth tmr. hmmms...... lalalala~ shall take it easy.

first day, going to sch instead of work (after 3 mths) and nt going for lectures & stuff for like more than 5mths? cool or not?

and that means, start of uni life... hmmms... what will it bring... how will it go?

what modules to take.
how many modules this sem...
can i get the modules...
will my timetable crash....
lol. so many things... and worst is trying to see if i can get into the same class with my frens.
haa. the bidding thing really kills me.
it drains my energy faster than ever.
esp. the close bidding round. arghs.
crap those pple who spam last min.

work has been busy so far. haas.
kind of like lack of staff. hahahas.
so yeah, working working working.
transition mode to studying is a little bit tough. lol.

but what makes me want to work is becos of the studying. no?
hmms. sometimes i wonder what i want in life afterall?
what is my final goal?
where is that?

I used to be so sure of my future when I'm in secondary school.
but now, not anymore.
plan changes and so do us.
haas. things will never be the same i guess.
i hope i chose the right field to go into.
i wish i know where this road will bring me.
